Fred Astaire Gallery

With the opening of the first Fred Astaire Studio in New York City in 1947, Mr. Astaire's wish to ensure his techniques would be preserved and passed onto the public became a reality. Today, numerous Fred Astaire Dance Studios located in cities throughout North America are required to maintain the highest standards of excellence through our National Dance Board and Fred Astaire Curriculum certification.
"Some people seem to feel that good dancers are born, but all the good dancers I know have been taught or trained."
